Ron Anderson - Secretary
Ron has
been singing in choirs since he was 5 years old. Wherever he has lived he has sought
out a choir in which to sing. Notably, Ron was a member of the 7th Army Soldier’s
Chorus in Heidelberg, Germany singing in over 200 concerts in 1½ years. He also
sang in The Minnesota Chorale, which sang symphonic choral works with the Minnesota
and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestras. And he was a singing and board member of the
Twin Cities Men’s Chorus when they hosted GALA Choruses for a week-long series of
concerts at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis in the 1980s.
In Minnesota, Ron worked at the former West Publishing division of Thomson Reuters
where his J.D degree and a love of photography, video production and technical toys
were synthesized. As an eLearning developer Ron found himself producing video documentaries
on legal research and dipping his mind into such strange things as Flash animation
and SQL.
Ron retired in 2008 and moved to Seattle where he found his new musical family in
the Seattle Choral Company. Ron is most thankful that he lives in an area where
Lutefisk is abundant.

the charity auction process.

Pamella Miller
Lisa Reitzes
Lisa Reitzes has been a singing member of the Seattle Choral Company since the Fall of 2001 – in fact, joining the SCC was one of the first things on the list when she and her partner Jill moved here from San Antonio. Since 2008, she has served as Alto I section leader, and she joined the Board of Directors in January 2009. Previously, she sang with the Hampshire Choral Society in Northampton, MA, and the San Antonio Choral Society.
Educated at the University of California - Berkeley, University of Oregon, and the University of Delaware, Lisa was for over 20 years a professor of art and architectural history, and still loves to look at buildings and sculpture wherever she and Jill travel. In a career change that was partly by design and partly by circumstance, for the last 8 years Lisa has been honored to work at Seattle Children’s Hospital, first in Hospital Administration and now as a Facilities Project Manager.
Lisa’s other oxygen-demanding passions are master’s rowing and biking; more sedentary pleasures include Food Network shows and crossword puzzles. She and Jill are members of Westside Unitarian Universalist Congregation in West Seattle.
